Former Mayor Liz Jones becomes Club Ambassador

Dunstable Town FC are delighted to announce that former Town Mayor of Dunstable, Liz Jones, has accepted an invitation to take up a new role as Club Ambassador.

Liz finished her third term of office as Town Mayor earlier this year.

Liz comes from a family of devoted public servants with her grandfather, father and mother also representing the town as Mayor.

Liz’s connections to the Club go back many years. Her father was a Director of the Club for many years and opened the hospitality area of the old clubhouse just under forty years ago on the site where the CBS Hub now sits.

Her role as Club Ambassador will be to help promote the Club’s community initiatives to a wider audience.

Dunstable Town FC is a supporter owned Community Benefit Society. The Club’s physical health and mental well-being initiative,

Improving the Lives of Others, has received national recognition and led to the Non-League Paperawarding the Club the coveted Community Club of the Year award 2024.
