A few days before Christmas, First Team Head Coach, Joe Deeney and Director of Supporters’ Groups, Peter Bottom headed up a party of Dunstable Town players and coaches who visited Caddington Grove Care Home. Caddington Grove is one of the Club’s sponsors and we thought it only right to bring a little bit of festive cheer to the 55 residents in the home.
Director of CBS Growth & Marketing & one of the Club’s two Business Consultants, Lee Nania, volunteered to buy and wrap enough presents for the residents before passing them onto Peter in a carefully planned piece of logistics.
There may have been a difference in age groups between the players and coaches and the residents they met and chatted to, but the smiles on the faces of the residents they were able to spend quality time with meant that the visit had been a huge success and one we hope we can do again next year.
